RWC seeks Psychosocial Support Worker
RWC is seeking a Psychosocial Support Worker to join our team in northern France, starting in April 2019 (flexible start date).
The Refugee Women’s Centre is a small and dynamic team of female volunteers, working in informal refugee camps in northern France to support women and family units. Our focus is on psychosocial, administrative and material aid.
We are looking for a creative and adaptable individual with experience in working with displaced women, particularly in the charity sector, to commit to a minimum of one year on the ground with us. The volunteer will be focusing on preparing and leading psychosocial activities that empower, encourage autonomy and meet the changing needs of the women we support as well as undertaking other daily tasks jointly with the rest of the team. We embrace female or non-binary people of all ages (over 21 years) and nationalities. Our working language is English.
